TERCENTENARY GUR GADDI DIVAS OF SRI GURU GRANT SAHIB JI
To commemorate the Tercentenary Gur Gaddi Divas of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji,Guru Nanak Public School-Sector-36-D Chandigarh ,organised a special programme in the school campus. The first in the series of the programmes for this sacred occassion was Shabad Gayan by the students of the school.
Poetry recitation ,speeches and soulful rendition of Shabad Kirtan made the whole atmosphere heavenly.The campus was illuminated with earthen lamps and candles.The Gen.Secretary of the School,S.J.S. Bawa and S.Ashok Singh Bagrian were also present on this auspicious occassion.S.Ashok Singh Bagrian ,through his speech ,enlightened the students on the significance of the day.The whole school ,especially the boarders participated whole-heartedly and made the event a great success.The programme rounded off with distribution of langar.
