The annual dinner of SEGUNS (Society of Ex-Guru Nanak Public School Students), headed by Mr. Harpal Ranauta ,Hardeep Singh and other members of the Executive team, was organized on December 24 at CGA (Chandigarh Golf Association) lawns. Along with a large number of former students, principals, and teachers of the school, several prominent personalities
from the city were present at the event that had a distinct air of nostalgia about it.
Santa claus disributed goodies to the kids and members as christmas was also celebrated alongwith. Conversations inevitably veered round to glorious days spent together at the school, which came into being on January 1, 1974, and has produced one distinguished batch after the other since then. SEGUNS was formed in 2005 and has been spearheading efforts towards putting old friends and batch mates back in touch with each other since then.
