TEACHING METHODOLOGY

We follow a programmed method of learning.  The matter to be taught during each period for each subject, throughout the year is planned in advance by a group of trained and experienced teachers at both levels junior and senior. At the junior level worksheets are prepared for each class.  The material includes introduction to a topic, pictures, maps and diagram to understand the concept better.  The emphasis is  on motivating a child to discover things for himself and thus understand a concept.  Learning thus becomes a pleasure as it reduces the burden of memorising.

Maths Lab :
The primary objective of the laboratory is to enrich mathematics as a discipline by providing them with an environment, which encourages learning by discovery approach.

Technology Aided Learning :

Technology aided learning is an integral part of education.  Facilities like the K-Yan makes the teaching process inter-active.  With the help of the technology-various discussions, teachers-workshops, demonstration, are held regularly to wider the students horizon.

Learning by Doing :
Teaching at both levels junior and senior is activity based.  Class room teaching is made more interesting by making the use of charts, audio-visual aids, globe, models and active participation of the students.
Fantasy Room :   Fantasy Room is a different world for the tiny-tots to reckon with.  It is well equipped with story-books, pictures and stuffed toys.  Story-telling classes are held with the help of the educative tools.  Rides and slides are also there for the tiny tots T.V. and D.V.D.'s are used for showing the children cartoon, stories, numbers, alphabets etc. and make learning more interesting.
Social Studies Room:
A well equipped social studies room helps teaching and learning more effective with the help of maps, models globe, project works etc.
