The word �teacher� sends a wave of ecstasy, the moment one thinks about it. That was exactly the feeling the teaching faculty got when the students of Guru Nanak Public School expressed their gratitude by putting up a colourful programme .





INSTRUCTIONS

 

Guardians of students who are foreign nationals whether Day Scholars or Boarders will get their wards registered with FRO's Office under U.T. Chandigarh and intimate number of passport, Visa and Residential permit (R.P.) to the school within a week of their admission. They will also get year to year extension of Visa of their wards as per Police Rules.

During vacation, Boarding students must be collected by their parents after recess on the last working day, preceding vacation and brought back on the morning of opening day of the school after vacation. They must deposit the fees for the ensuing period on the morning of opening day and show the receipt to the warden/matron so that the latter can accept the students on rejoining. Parents should make their programmes to visit school to collect/bring back their wards strictly as stipulated above.

On working days once a student joins his/her class he/she will not be permitted to leave school before close of the school except in cases of a very emergent nature. Parents should come personally to take their wards with prior permission of the Principal /Registrar. When parents are aware or have planned to take their wards to hospital/family function etc. the students should not be sent to school and leave application for full day should be sent. This will avoid rush of visitors to the school.
 
INSTRUCTION TO PARENTS
Parents and Guardians of students should understand that they cannot dictate to the school authorities on matters of policy, continuance in school of any student

The school expects the co-operation of the parents to ensure that:
The students come to school regularly, punctually neatly and properly dressed.
The children bring to school their books and note books which should be properly maintained.
Parents are expected to co-operate with the school authorities by actively participating in the school activities from time to time.
Parents are requested to write their remarks in the school diary for the information of the teacher.
Names of students remaining absent for more than six consecutive days without any information/permission will be liable to be struck off the school rolls.

In case of infectious diseases at home (chicken pox, measles, mumps, cough and conjunctivitis ) parents should report the fact to the principal at once and should not send student to school till the danger of infection has passed.

Parents should provide the specimen signatures at the prescribed place in the school diary.
Parents are requested to notify the school immediately if there is any change in their address, telephone no or emergency contact person.

They will also get year to year extension of residential permit of their wards as per Police Rules.
